The Privatisation and Corporatisation Board (PCB) has appointed a member to the Board of Directors of Business Centre Corporation Limited (BCC).
PCB appointed Ahmed Iftikhar as the non-executive member of the Board of Directors of BCC for a second term. President of PCB Asim Mohamed handed over the letter of appointment to Iftikhar at a ceremony held at the Ministry of Finance.
Furthermore, PCB gave a presentation on the PCB Act and Corporate Governance Code. PCB shared the findings of the financial and governance reviews, requested changes, and also discussed the current challenges faced by the company.
Iftikhar has worked at the Ministry of Economic Development since 2008. He obtained a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Business Studies.
