BML opens application for Community Fund

Bank of Maldives (BML) has opened applications for proposals under its Community Fund for the second phase of the year.

The fund is open for registered non-governmental organisations (NGOs) to access funds up to USD3,242 to implement local projects in the areas of environment, education, sports and community development. All registered NGOs based in Male’ City and the islands are eligible to apply.

In addition, 10 projects will be selected from the proposals received and a total of 20 projects will be funded during this year in the second phase. The deadline for the applications forms is on August 10 and both the application form and proposal should be sent via email.

Community Fund is a programme to empower NGOs to contribute to their communities through sustainable projects. BML has provided financial assistance for 90 projects across the country through the fund.
