Housing Development Corporation (HDC) has officially opened Hiyaa Park in Hulhumale' Phase II.
HDC stated that its vision for Hiyaa Park is to create a haven where all residents in the Hiyaa flats area could come together to unwind, relax, and experience joy and playfulness. The park is located near the bus stop in Hulhumale' Phase II and was opened as part of the efforts of HDC to establish various facilities to provide essential services, entertainment and comfort to the residents in the area.
Speaking at the opening ceremony, Deputy Managing Director Ahmed Gais said the aim of the park is to create a comfortable environment for all the residents living in Hulhumale' Phase II. He also urged the residents to give their full support in keeping the park clean, adding that smoking and plastic bottles are banned from the park.
Members of the public have expressed their satisfaction with the opening of Hiyaa Park. They noted that the park is a perfect environment for families and children to enjoy time together outside.
