Maldives Marketing and Public Relations Corporation (MMPRC) has hosted a roadshow series in Jakarta, Indonesia.
MMPRC stated that the roadshow in Jakarta is the first one of a series of three roadshows in Southeast Asia (SEA). The event focused on networking with the tour operators and travel agents from the region, strengthening trade relationships, and maintaining SEA as one of the top source markets for the Maldives. It also aimed to promote unique products and experiences of Maldives aligned with our strategies for the SEA market. The second roadshow will be held at Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, on August 2, followed by a third roadshow on August 4 at Bangkok, Thailand.
A total of 17 prominent companies from the Maldivian tourism industry are taking part in the roadshows presenting their distinctive products and services to the SEA market. The presence of numerous renowned tourism companies in the event highlights the commitment of the tourism sector in the Maldives to catering to the preferences of the SEA market.
MMPRC conducted a raffle during the roadshow in Jakarta and the lucky winner was gifted a free three-night stay at Adaaran Club Rannalhi. For the raffle in Kuala Lumpur, the lucky winner will be gifted a three-night stay at Adaaran Club Rannalhi and a three-night stay in Pullman Maldives Maamutaa. The lucky winner for the raffle held during the roadshow in Bangkok will be gifted a five-night stay at Furaveri Island Resort and Spa.
