President inaugurates Central Power Station in Faresmaathodaa

President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih has inaugurated the office of Fenaka Corporation Limited in Vaadhoo and the Fenaka Central Power Station in Faresmaathodaa during his visit to Gaafu Dhaalu Atoll.

The new Fenaka office in Vaadhoo and the Central Power Station in Faresmaathodaa are part of the administration's efforts to improve infrastructure and provide reliable services to the residents of the islands.

The Fenaka office in Vaadhoo is modern and spacious, featuring a staff room, lobby, reception, meeting room, and guest room. The office was designed to provide a comfortable and efficient working environment for Fenaka employees and serve the local community's needs. In addition, the new Central Power Station in Faresmaathodaa is also spacious and equipped with modern facilities. The station has a generation capacity of 1,840KW, providing reliable electricity to the island's residents.

Under President Solih's leadership, the administration has made significant progress towards achieving equitable development across all inhabited islands in the Maldives. This includes improving the quality of life for citizens and empowering them to lead dignified lives. During his visits to various islands, President Solih is officially inaugurating the completion of numerous projects and services.
