President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih has inaugurated the extension of the Baa Atoll Hospital in Eydhafushi. He inspected the building and inquired about its services and operations following the inauguration of the extension.
The extension of Baa Atoll Hospital was developed to address space constraints at the facility. The new addition features a six-bed dialysis unit, six Outpatient Department (OPD) consultation rooms, a waiting area, and a reception.
Furthermore, President Solih visited Hithaadhoo and inaugurated the new powerhouse and office of Fenaka Corporation Limited. The new office and powerhouse have been developed with state-of-the-art amenities. The facility can accommodate up to 15 employees and is strategically located away from residential areas. Its power generation capacity is 800kW. The office was designed to provide a comfortable and efficient working environment for Fenaka employees and better serve the local community's needs.
The administration said it has achieved significant strides toward equitable development across all inhabited islands. This includes enhancing the quality of life for citizens and empowering them to lead dignified lives.
