Furthermore, the President also inaugurated newly constructed facilities at Dr. Abdul Samad Memorial Hospital, including a Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) and an Outpatient Department (OPD) area. The OPD features 14 consulting rooms, while the labour room has two labour suites and four private rooms. In addition, the President also inaugurated the Thinadhoo powerhouse.
The newly developed powerhouse boasts a power generation capacity of 7.6 megawatts, signifying a substantial leap in delivering dependable and efficient power to the island. The Fenaka office, a state-of-the-art and capacious establishment, was also inaugurated. These inaugurations mark a significant milestone in the development of local infrastructure and the sustained progress of the community.
Under President Solih's leadership, the administration has achieved significant strides towards equitable development across all inhabited islands in the Maldives. This includes enhancing the quality of life for citizens and empowering them to lead dignified lives.
