State Electric Company Limited (STELCO) has inaugurated the water supply and sewerage system in Mandhoo, Alifu Dhaalu Atoll.
The project was inaugurated by Managing Director of STELCO Ahmed Shareef. STELCO will provide one tonne of water free of charge to every person who requests for water service to mark the occasion.
STELCO has also embarked on the replacement of the water system installed in 2018 in Dhangethi, Alifu Dhaalu Atoll, due to its lack of service. Although the original project timeline was set at six months, STELCO is striving to complete the task in a more expedited three-month period.
