Vice President Faisal Naseem has inspected the condition of institutions in Velidhoo, Noonu Atoll. He inspected the work and condition of government institutions during his visit to the island to attend the Veliran Awards 2023, organised by the island council.
Vice President Naseem first visited the Noonu Atoll Education Centre and met with the management to discuss the challenges facing the institution and the needs and requirements of the management to enhance the education provided by the institution. He assured that the administration will resolve the most immediate issues. He also observed the construction of four classrooms at the institution and visited the class for children with special needs and inquired on the challenges faced by the staff.
Additionally, Vice President Naseem visited the Velidhoo health centre and met with the management and staff. He discussed challenges to enhancing healthcare services and the administration's plans to improve healthcare services on the island and the region. The management presented him with a souvenir during his visit.
Furthermore, Vice President Naseem visited the Velidhoo Island Council and inquired on its administrative difficulties. He also donated a copy of his biography during his visit to the institutions.
