President-elect vows to hire more teachers and change curriculum

President-elect Dr. Mohamed Muizzu has vowed to hire more teachers and change the national curriculum.

In his message on World Teacher's Day, President-elect Muizzu said that a country can only achieve success if its education system is based on strong morals and valuable knowledge and skills. He also said that teachers have a challenging responsible of leading future generations in the right direction.

Additionally, President-elect Muizzu said that there are still too few teachers and that there are doubts as to whether students have the necessary skills for the country when they graduate. He vowed to addresses these issues by recruiting more teachers and change the national curriculum to prioritise discipline, competence, and patriotism.

Furthermore, President-elect Muizzu said that his administration will focus on providing training opportunities for teachers and formulating policies to ensure their well-being. As such, he said that he will uphold the respect for teachers in the country and provide them with a better work and life balance.
