BML honours long serving employees

Bank of Maldives (BML) has honoured the loyalty of its long-serving employees at a special function, presenting awards to 64 staff who have worked for 15-40 years.

At the function, Head of Internal Audit Fathimath Rasheeda received a special commendation for serving BML for 40 years while Head of Branches and Service Centres Hussain Rasheed, Audit Manager Aminath Hassan, and Deputy Senior Officer Aminath Naseer who have all served the bank for 35 years, also received special recognition at the ceremony.

Speaking at the ceremony, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and Managing Director Karl Stumke said BML employees are an integral part of success and thanked them for their hard work, commitment, and dedication over the years.

BML is the largest bank and one of the largest employers in the Maldives, and 99% of its staff base is Maldivians. The bank’s human resources policies are aligned with its strategic priorities and promote the highest standards in employee recruitment, development, and reward.

The Long Service Awards is part of the regular series of events held by the national bank to honour its staff. In August this year, BML held its annual Staff Awards to recognise the top-performing employees and teams of the past year.
