The Maldives Hajj Corporation Limited (MHCL) has opened the opportunity for individuals undergoing treatment for severe illnesses to seek reservation of the allocated quota for the Hajj pilgrimage.
According to an announcement by the corporation, 5% of this year's Hajj quota will be set aside for individuals who have paid for the pilgrimage through the company and currently dealing with serious illnesses. It is a requirement that the individuals have not yet performed the obligatory Hajj pilgrimage. The corporation has commenced accepting applications for the reserved quota and the deadline for submission is until 1400hrs on November 24.
MHCL also stated that individuals are urged to complete the application form on its website and attach a clear copy of the applicant's identity (ID) card, along with the Health Certification Form.
