President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu has appointed Ibrahim Abdul Razzaq Haleem as the Chief Executive Officer at Dharumavantha Hospital. The appointment was made at the ministerial level.
Ibrahim Abdul Razzaq Haleem has previously held key positions in state-owned enterprises such as the Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC) and Maldives Ports Limited (MPL).
Additionally, President Muizzu has renamed the Male' Hospitals Board of Trustees as the Male' City Group of Hospitals' Governing Board. The governing board is responsible for the management of Dharumavantha Hospital, Indira Gandhi Memorial Hospital (IGMH), Hulhumale' Hospital, and Villimale' Hospital.
The Male' City Group of Hospitals' Governing Board will be administratively overseen under the purview of the Ministry of Health. This change initiated by the President signifies a reconstitution of the governing board.
