Minister of Dhivehi Language, Culture, and Heritage Adam Naseer Ibrahim has visited with students from Thulhaadhoo School in Baa Atoll, who are actively participating in literary competitions organised by the Dhivehi Language Academy.
Speaking to the students, Minister Adam expressed the crucial role of reading, writing, and oral expression in the pursuit of a literary career. He also commended the Dhivehi Language Academy's dedicated efforts in arranging these literary competitions and expressed gratitude to the teachers for their hard work in preparing the students for such events.
Additionally, Minister Adam acknowledged the increased focus on literature at Thulhaadhoo School. He highlighted that it aligns with President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu's vision, in which a sense of urgency is placed on revitalising literature and promoting nationalism. He also expressed optimism that tangible results will become evident in the future.
