He made this statement during the official Huravee Day commemoration held at the Maldives Center for Social Education (MCSE).

During his address, the President emphasised the significant moral values derived from the teachings of Huravee Day. President Dr. Muizzu outlined his vision for national progress, stressing the simultaneous development of human capital and infrastructure. He underscored the importance of fostering patriotic values and announced nationwide efforts to rejuvenate nationalism. As part of these initiatives, the president revealed plans for the establishment of a National Centre for Cultural Research and a National College for Culture, incorporating a subject on 'nationalism' into the national curriculum under the Administration's 'Hafutha 14' roadmap.

Connecting Islam's core principles to nationalism, the president noted the role of leaders in fostering virtue and deterring vice. He announced measures to prohibit access to websites displaying sexually explicit content, ensuring their inaccessibility within the coming week. Promising to fulfill all goals outlined in the 'Hafutha 14' roadmap within the given timeframe, he underscored Islam's emphasis on fulfilling promises.

President Dr. Muizzu provided updates on negotiations between the Maldives and India regarding the withdrawal of Indian military personnel. He highlighted initiatives under the 'Hafutha 14' roadmap, including the creation of a National Registry of Fishermen, the cessation of new banknote printing, the expedited development of Velana International Airport, and the transformation of the Maldives Industrial Fisheries Company Limited (MIFCO) into a wholly state-owned enterprise.

Further detailing initiatives under the 'Hafutha 14' roadmap, the president announced the commencement of the Hajj pilgrimage for 50 individuals, expanding services for children undergoing thalassemia treatment, providing free bone marrow transplants, and offering systematic coverage for fertility treatments domestically and internationally. Eligible locals can now avail themselves of routine medical check-ups biannually, reflecting the Administration's commitment to comprehensive healthcare.
