President reveals interests to further develop Dhivehi Raajjeyge Adu

President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu has shared the government's keen interest in advancing the development and fortification of Dhivehi Raajjeyge Adu (DRA). The announcement was made during a special radio show commemorating the 61st anniversary of DRA.

Listeners were invited to share their thoughts and pose questions to President Dr. Muizzu and First Lady Saajidha Mohamed during the broadcast.

A resident from Dharanboodhoo, Faafu atoll, Mahmood Ahmed, expressed apprehension about signal difficulties in certain parts of the country, prompting attention to potential challenges that the government aims to address.

Addressing the concern, President Dr. Muizzu emphasised the pivotal role of DRA in disseminating news, information, and entertainment. The president described DRA as an important resource. Consequently, he underscored that the government will prioritise the further strengthening and development of DRA.
