Minister of State for Higher Education, Labour and Skills Development Mariyam Fizana Rasheed has been appointed as the Chief Executive Officer of the Maldives Qualifications Authority (MQA).
Minister of Higher Education, Labour and Skills Development Dr. Mariyam Mariya has met with Fizana Rasheed on her appointment and held discussions with the management of MQA to discuss its operations.
Fizana holds a Master's Degree from the Open University of Malaysia. She has previously served as the Director General of MQA. She has also served as Dean and Lecturer of the Faculty of Education of the Maldives National University (MNU).
