IASL seeks Boeing B787-8 Aircraft

The Island Aviation Services Limited (IASL) is seeking a Boeing B787-8 Aircraft for flight operations of the national airline, Maldivian.

The Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner is a long range, mid-sized, wide-body, twin-engine jet airliner. It has a range of up to 7,635 nautical miles and a fuel efficiency of around 20% better than comparable planes.

IASL has invited all eligible parties to submit their proposal to provide one Boeing B787-8 Aircraft on dry lease basis for a preferred lease period of six years. did registration is open for interested parties up to January 25, at 1430hrs. In order to participate in the bid, all respondents are required to provide an expression of interest by mailing the form to IASL procurement mail.

IASL earlier parties to submit their proposal to provide one Airbus A330-200 aircraft on dry lease basis for a preferred lease period of five years. The company is seeking a wide-body aircraft for international flight operations.

Maldivian currently has 14 aircraft in its fleet. They include one Airbus A320, two ATRs and a Dash aircraft.
