President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu has announced that a sum of USD130 million in grants has been arranged during his recent trip to China.
Speaking to reporters at Velana International Airport (VIA) upon concluding his visit, President Dr. Muizzu revealed that the funds have been earmarked for various development projects in the Maldives.
He emphasised that a significant portion will be allocated to the road construction project in Male' City. He also highlighted that the Chinese government has facilitated the provision of USD130 million in grants to support the Maldives.
