Speaker of Parliament Mohamed Aslam has arrived in Sri Lanka on an official visit. He was welcomed by Mahinda Yapa Abeywardena, Speaker of Sri Lanka’s Parliament.
Speaker Aslam will be visiting Sri Lanka until January 19. During the trip, he will be visiting Sri Lanka's Parliament and meeting with parliamentary officials and lawmakers. He is also scheduled to hold meetings with Sri Lankan government officials.
Speaker Aslam is being accompanied by a delegation comprising Maldivian lawmakers and officials from the Parliament of the Maldives.
