President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu has underscored the utmost priority given to the construction of Gaadhiffushi School's building and all associated initiatives during his ongoing visit to Gaadhiffushi, Thaa Atoll.
In his address to the residents, the president committed to commencing the land reclamation project on the island within the year, alongside the construction of Guraidhoo Airport. He acknowledged the challenges associated with the previous Administration's island port project and asserted the Government's unwavering dedication to advancing the initiative.
President Dr. Muizzu further reiterated the Administration's commitment to overall island development and outlined the Government's policy of integrating uninhabited islands into the jurisdiction of island councils, providing Gaadhiffushi with the opportunity to enhance its revenue and income under established guidelines.
