Mayor of Addu City Ali Nizar has expressed full confidence in President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu's commitment to developing the Addu City Bridge. He made the statement during the signing ceremony of the survey agreement for the Addu City Bridge Project in Hulhumeedhoo, Addu City.
Speaking at the ceremony, Mayor Nizar conveyed that witnessing progress on the Addu City Bridge project was the pinnacle of his political career. He emphasised that the project stands as the primary aspiration of the residents of Addu, yet previous administrations had not given it the necessary attention.
Highlighting the current government's prioritisation of initiating the Addu City Bridge project, Mayor Nizar underscored its significance for the development trajectory of Addu. He likened the bridge project to transformative architectural endeavors in major global cities and affirmed President Dr. Muizzu's dedication to realising the aspirations of the residents of Addu.
