President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu has met with members of the Council of Madaveli, Gaafu Dhaalu Atoll and the Women's Development Committee (WDC) at the Madaveli Island Council Secretariat.
In the meeting, the Council highlighted key issues crucial for the economic and social progress of Madaveli Island. These encompassed land reclamation, the construction of new housing units, port expansion, Health Centre improvement, school space enhancement through the construction of a multipurpose hall, ATM installation, improvement of water sanitation and overflow systems, and support for youth development.
President Dr. Muizzu affirmed the Administration's commitment to thoroughly examine all the issues raised by the Council. This includes addressing concerns related to port improvement, ATM installation, constructing a multipurpose hall for the school, and other issues put forth by the Council. The accompanying ministers provided council members with updates on the latest developments in the island's ongoing projects.
