President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu has held a meeting with the members of the Island Council of Vashafaru, Haa Alifu Atoll and the Women's Development Committee (WDC) at the Vashafaru School, accompanied by Vice President Hussain Mohamed Latheef and Cabinet Ministers.
During the meeting, Council members expressed their most critical development needs to the President, acknowledging the government's strong connection with its citizens. They conveyed gratitude and assured the residents' unwavering cooperation with the Government.
WDC members echoed the Council’s sentiments at the meeting, expressing appreciation to the President for closely working with the people. They conveyed confidence in the Administration's ability to deliver on its development agenda.
President Muizzu, in turn, emphasised that the people's unwavering support would greatly contribute to the Government's effective service to its citizens. He reiterated his commitment to achieving the goals highlighted during his meeting with the island's residential community, emphasizing a collaborative approach between the government and the people for successful development initiatives.
