He lamented the lack of comprehensive efforts in teaching history to students and youth, noting a deficiency in the educational system.
Additionally, Minister Naseer advocated for a more dynamic approach to teaching history, exploring various perspectives and utilising modern tools like filmmaking to engage learners effectively.
National History Day is held annually on February 27 in the Maldives. The day serves as a reminder of the nation's rich heritage and the pivotal role history plays in shaping its trajectory.
