President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu has held a meeting with the members of Kulhudhuffushi City Council and Women's Development Committee (WDC) at the Secretariat of the Kulhudhuffushi City Council.
During the meeting, the City Council emphasized that housing is the most crucial project for Kulhudhuffushi City. They highlighted the need for Value Added Facilities (VAF) to further develop the fisheries sector. The Council also conveyed the necessity for a new office building for the council, addressing erosion issues, and constructing a synthetic track along with the sports arena. The members urged authorities to expedite the TVET centre and Dhamanaveshi.
The Kulhudhuffushi City WDC also briefed the President on the committee's work during the meeting.
In response, the President stated that the Administration would prioritize the issues raised by the Council. The Ministers in attendance provided the latest updates on the Government's efforts to address these issues, demonstrating a collaborative approach to ensure the comprehensive development of Kulhudhuffushi City.
