President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu has convened with the members of the Hen'badhoo Island Council during his ongoing visit to several islands in the Haa Alifu, Haa Dhaalu, Shaviyani, and Noonu atolls.
The meeting centered around the island's developmental requirements and the challenges faced by its residents. Emphasizing the urgent necessity for housing provision, the Council members also underscored the importance of establishing sports facilities for the youth.
Additionally, they sought the Administration's support for investments planned for the island under Hen’badhoo's jurisdiction. Members also requested the expedited installation of ATM services, the swift completion of the Health Centre extension building, and the establishment of RTL ferry services in Noonu Atoll.
President Dr. Muizzu engaged in discussions with the Council Members regarding their development plans for the island under Hen'badhoo's jurisdiction.
The President assured the members that the Administration would thoroughly examine the concerns raised by the Council. Ministers present at the meeting provided updates on the Government's ongoing initiatives to address the issues brought to the forefront by the Council.
