This year's edition of the Nation Games encompasses various competitions, including inter-school, inter-university, college, inter-office, and inter-resource contests.

Speaking at the event, Youhth Minister Ibrahim Waheed highlighted the multifaceted benefits of these gaming activities, emphasising not only entertainment but also the potential for financial gains.

The minister acknowledged Ooredoo's transformative role in the Maldives' telecommunications industry and emphasised how these games contribute to income-generating opportunities, particularly for the youth. He underlined the significance of ensuring the quality of the contests.

CEO and MD of Ooredoo Maldives Halid Al Hamdhy expressed plans to expand the scale of the games, inviting international participation. He noted Ooredoo's commitment to fostering innovation and enhancing customer engagement. Additionally, Halid Al Hamdhy revealed ongoing efforts to take the tournament beyond national borders.
