President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu has appointed Ibrahim Mafaz as the new Commissioner of Maldives Customs Service, as announced by Customs on social media.
Mafaz has served in Customs for over 27 years and previously held the position of Deputy Chief Superintendent.
Mafaz holds a Master's Degree in Customs Administration from the University of Canberra, Australia, further enhancing his qualifications for the role.
Alongside Mafaz, Maldives Customs Service also has four deputy commissioners, including Fathimath Dhiyana, Abdulla Waheed, and Mahmood Riza.
