No weakening within PPM/PNC Coalition: PNC Leadership

Vice President the Progressive Party of Maldives (PPM) and Minister of Defense the Mohamed Ghassan Maumoon has stated that there is no faltering within the ruling PPM/PNC Coalition.

In an exclusive interview with PSMNEWS, He emphasised the unity within the People's National Congress (PNC) and PPM. His remarks came in response to former President Abdulla Yameen's claim that President Dr. Muizzu was reluctant to bolster the PPP/PNC alliance. Taking to social media, he underscored that the President contested the presidential election with unwavering support from the PPM/PNC coalition leaders, the Senate, all elected bodies of both parties, and their general membership. He affirmed that this support remains steadfast.

Additionally, President Dr. Muizzu affirmed that the PPM is backing his leadership, ensuring that the unity within the two parties remains unshaken. He dispelled any notion of weakening resolve within the party leadership.

Meanwhile, Vice President and Minister of Fisheries and Ocean Resources Ahmed Shiyam stressed that those wishing prosperity for PPM should refrain from inciting public animosity towards the government. He hailed President Dr. Muizzu's administration as a triumph for PPM, emphasizing its enduring victory.

Moreover, Vice President of PNC and Minister of Economic Development and Trade Mohamed Saeed hailed President Dr. Muizzu's relentless progress as the head of the PPM/PNC coalition. He also highlighted the President's efforts in nation-building and the implementation of crucial reforms essential for a new chapter in the Maldives.
