The Parliament has decided to adjourn its sessions until the conclusion of the Eid holiday period.
This decision comes in line with the government's closure during the last ten days of Ramadan. The Speaker of Parliament clarified that sessions are typically held on non-public holidays.
Furthermore, parliamentary employees will adhere to the same working hours as government employees during this period. While the Speaker did not specify a precise date for the resumption of sessions, it is expected that they will resume after the Eid holidays.
It's worth noting that several important matters submitted to the 19th Parliament are still undergoing various stages of review and consideration.
The current 19th Parliament's term is set to expire on May 27, with elections for the 20th Parliament scheduled for April 21.
