President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu has announced that the project to establish 1000 housing units in Eydhafushi, Baa Atoll will be launched in the near future. The president made the announcement while speaking at a campaign event.
Speaking at the event, President Dr. Muizzu assured that a variety of developmental projects will be launched in Eydhafushi as it was one of the seven islands decided to be developed to urban centers by the government. The president observed that the establishment of 1000 housing units will solve the housing crisis, in addition to advancing the field and benefitting the economy.
Highlighting that the parliamentary cooperation plays a pivotal role to approve and actively support the governments decisions , President Dr. Muizzu urged residents to cast their votes for the future and development of the nation rather than their own interests. The president underscored the crucial importance of electing parliamentarians with similar views and opinions with the current administration.
Therefore, the President called for the election of candidates who will actively support and cooperate in achieving the commitments outlined in the government's manifesto, as such a parliament will assist the government to achieve its primary goals and unwavering commitments by the end of the term.
