Solih affirms MDP will continue to hold the current gov't accountable

Former President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih, also serving as the Advisor of the Maldivian Democratic Party (MDP) has stated that the party will continuously strive to hold the current government accountable for their actions. The remarks were made during MDP's campaign event held in Hithadhoo, Addu City.

Speaking at the event, Former President Solih expressed his sceptical views on the policies utilised by the current administration. Solih emphasised that the only way to change this was to be successful in the upcoming parliamentary election. Shedding light on the previous efforts taken by MDP during his term, aiming to resolve the housing crisis in Addu City, he stressed the importance of developing other cities of the nation to address the housing issue faced in Male' City.

Former President Solih was accompanied by senior officials of MDP during the visit to Addu City for campaign purposes.
