Skate Maldives has provided kits to athletes gearing up for skating competitions and training camps in India.
Commissioner of Sports, Mohamed Tholal, presided over a special ceremony at the Ministry of Sports and Fitness, where he personally handed out the kits to the 12 athletes selected for the programme.
The athletes are set to embark on an 11-day training program in India, preparing rigorously for the upcoming tournament. The training camp, organised by Skate Maldives, will encompass 16 intensive sessions aimed at honing their skills. Accompanying the athletes will be a dedicated parental team, ensuring their support and guidance throughout the journey.
Following the training camp, the athletes will partake in a two-day tournament, putting their newfound skills to the test. The entire endeavor is fully endorsed and supported by the Ministry of Sports, highlighting their commitment to the development and success of Maldivian athletes.
