The government is prioritising the resolution of the drug issue in the Maldives. The administration is also taking actions against drug traffickers. To tackle the issue of individuals being released after major drug arrests, the ministry is collaborating with the Attorney General's Office (AGO) and the Prosecutor General's Office (PGO).
