15 members appointed to Presidential Youth Advisory Council

President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu has appointed 15 members to the Presidential Youth Advisory Council. The members were appointed during a special ceremony held at the President’s Office.

During the ceremony President Muizzu presented the members were presented with letters of appointments and badges. The Presidential Youth Advisory Council consists of 15 members with two members appointed by the President, presidents of student councils of universities and national level athletes.

They also include members representing associations, members representing the field of arts and crafts and a student pursuing higher secondary education. In addition, members appointed by the Ministry of Youth Empowerment and Information and Arts are also included.

The members of the Presidential Youth Advisory Council are: -

  • Dawood Ahmed and Fathmath Nazaha Nazeem as president appointed members
  • Aminath Rabaab Ibrahim and Abdulla Ziyaau as representatives of national level athletes
  • Aishath Ashna and Ahmed Amru as representatives of the field of arts and crafts
  • Fathimath Raaiaa Shareef and Nimaal Hameed as representatives of NGOs
  • Abdulla Maahil Shaheem, Meesam Ibrahim, Mohamed Rayyan Mahir and Huwaina Mohamed Nihad appointed by the Ministry of Youth Empowerment, Information and Art
  • Jaish Ali Waheed, Hussain Arban Fawaz and Dhaloof Ahmed as presidents of student councils of universities
