President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu and First Lady Madam Sajidha Mohamed departed to Singapore on Monday evening.
This is not the President’s first unofficial visit to Singapore, since taking office. The President has denied that he is visiting the country for medical purposes.
Speaking at the latest rally held at the headquarters of the ruling People's National Congress (PNC), President Muizzu has urged the public to verify the news before sharing the news. He refuted many claims that were being made on his behalf.
During the first four months of his presidency, President Dr. Muizzu made official visits to three countries: Türkiye, the United Arab Emirates and China.
