President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu has condemned the governing system of the previous government, noting that it worsened the country's situation more severely than any previous government.
Speaking at a rally held at the premises of the People's National congress (PNC), President Dr. Muizzu clarified that his remarks on the previous administration's actions are not a reflection of any lack of progress by the current government. The president said that the governing of the previous government will continue to receive criticism for its actions in deteriorating the financial situation of the economy, creating societal division and neglecting religious principles and values.
Furthermore, President Dr. Muizzu reiterated his priority of serving the nation with integrity and transparently. He reaffirmed his unwavering commitment of fulfilling all the pledges made to the residents, with the ongoing efforts of the government.
