The high commission disclosed that students will receive guidance on adjusting to life in Malaysia, building connections with fellow students, becoming familiar with visa regulations, Malaysian customs, and the local culture, through the programme. It disclosed that the top priority of the programme is to increase awareness of students regarding mental health and wellbeing, and assist students to find potential solutions to address related concerns. As such, the programme will provide information on the counselling services offered as well. The high commission unveiled plans to hold more sessions under the programme in the future.
