President says that state visit to India was a success

President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu has revealed that the state visit to India was a success, and the primary objective of the visit was accomplished. He made the statement while addressing the Maldivians residing in Bangalore, India.

Speaking at the meeting, President Dr. Muizzu stated that ensuring that the government of the Maldives provides all the necessary assistance to the Maldivians residing abroad, was one of his top priorities. In order to achieve this, the president requested individuals to voice their concerns regarding any issue. He affirmed that if the government is unable to fulfil the needs of the residents, the issue will be addressed with the support of the government of India.

Furthermore, President Dr. Muizzu described his state visit to India as a success, noting that the objective of the visit has been achieved. The president stated that the visit played a significant role to facilitate all the essential needs and requirements of the residents. As such, he disclosed that the state visited presented the opportunity for the Maldives to welcome foreign investments in housing developmental projects, fisheries and various other sectors.
