Himmafushi Health Centre on Saturday announced plans to provide 24-hour service.
The health centre, which currently operates for 16 hours, would begin providing round-the-clock services, once renovation work of the facility is completed, it said.
According to the health centre, it is set to begin 24-hour operations later this year.
In addition to renovation work, a laboratory is also currently being developed at the centre, which will allow new tests and previously unavailable services, it added.
The centre currently employs 2 doctors and 30 healthcare staff.
