Parliament endorses 5 new cabinet ministers

Parliament on Monday unanimously endorsed 5 new cabinet ministers.

The newly confirmed cabinet members are; Iruthisham Adam as Minister of Youth and Sports, Ahmed Munavvar appointed as Minister of Finance and Treasury, Abdulla Nazim Ibrahim appointed as Minister of Health, Aiminath Zenysha Shaheed Zaki as Minister Gender and Family and Dr. Mohamed Asim as Minister of Foreign Affairs.

Their appointments were approved as reviewed by the Parliament Committee on Government Oversight.

The Committee Report was presented to the floor by Chair of the Government Oversight Committee, Vilifushi MP Riyaz Rasheed.
