Lotus Fihaara on Thursday was named the main sponsor of popular reality show Maldivian Idol season two. Public Service Media (PSM), is now preparing for season two of the famed show, after a hugely successful first season.
Speaking after signing the sponsorship agreement with Lotus Fihaara, Deputy Managing Director of PSM Aminath Shaayan Shahid revealed that season two will come with some major changes. “The new changes will be announced with the official launching of the show, which is slated for come September,” she said.
Speaking after signing the agreement, Managing Director of Lotus Fihaara Ibrahim Zainal Arif said their customers and fans of the show have been demanding the business play a major role in season two of the country’s first franchise reality show. PSM said the first season costed MVR17 million, and that a large percentage of funds for season two have now been secured.
