Gov’t to shape policies to support SMEs, says President Muizzu

The government will shape its policies to promote all sectors of business, including small and medium enterprises, President Dr Mohamed Muizzu has said. He made the remarks at a meeting with SME owners.

Beginning the meeting, the President thanked attendees for their presence, and said that the purpose of the meeting was to hear their concerns and ideas. He invited businesses owners to share their views, noting that their feedback and comments are important in shaping policies that promote the development and growth of all sectors.

The government is undertaking several efforts to strengthen SMEs as part of its broader economic development agenda.
