Maldives-Oman holds talks on energy initiatives

A high-level delegation from the Maldives has held discussions with Oman on the possibility of advancing energy projects in the Maldives.

The meeting took place on an official visit to Oman by the Maldives’ Minister of Finance and Planning, Moosa Zameer. In attendance was Oman’s Minister of Finance Sultan bin Salim bin Said al-Habsi.

The discussions focused on strengthening economic and trade ties between the two nations. The focus also shifted to maritime and fisheries partnerships and advancing energy projects in the Maldives was also deliberated.

In addition to these key areas of focus, the two ministers explored other potential avenues for collaboration between the nations.
