Rukuri, a new digital platform connecting job seekers and employers in the hospitality sector, has been officially launched.
The platform was launched at a special event held at the Barcelo Nasandhura.
First developed in 2023, the platform provides tourism-sector job information, including information on vacancies from resorts, guesthouses, restaurants, and other hospitality establishments. It allows users to conveniently find jobs that suit them and complete applications. Users can view in realtime the progress of their application, and employers can manage hiring through a transparent recruitment system.
Rukuri is developed by Island Recruits. The platform’s co-founder Ali Faiz said the platform aims to simplify recruitment and ensure equal opportunity. He said the platform will empower workers, while also providing multiple benefits to employers.
