President’s Office reopens applications for three advisory committees

The President’s Office has reopened applications for membership of three key advisory committees established to provide technical expertise and policy guidance to the government.

The committees cover the tourism, construction and fisheries sectors. These are three of the Maldives’ most significant industries.

The Tourism Sector Advisory Committee is tasked with supporting the sustainable development of the country’s tourism industry. The Construction Sector Advisory Committee will focus on promoting structured and sustainable growth within the construction sector. Meanwhile, the Fisheries Sector Advisory Committee aims to strengthen the fisheries and mariculture industries.

Officials say the application deadline has now been extended to 12:00 p.m. on Tuesday, 3 March 2026, to give interested candidates additional time to apply.

Applications will be accepted on working days, excluding public holidays, between 8:30 a.m. and 12:00 p.m.

Submissions can be made by email to [email protected] or delivered in person to the President’s Office reception.

Application forms are available at the President’s Office and can also be downloaded from its official website.
