Health Ministry reveals plan to acquire 384 computer systems this year as part of its project to computerise health facilities across the country.
The contract to supply the computer systems is awarded to Click Computers.
The 3.6 million rufiyaa project is aimed at improving the delivery of health services.
The Ministry said 15 out of 384 computers have already been sent to hospitals and health centres in the atolls.
Deputy Director General at the Health Ministry Ahmed Gasim said all 384 computer systems are expected to be delivered before the end of the year.
Gasim also said the computerisation project will make the management of health facilities and delivery of services more efficient.
