Manadhoo Council assigns contractor to youth centre project

Manadhoo Island Council on Thursday assigned Daily New Construction Private Limited to build a youth centre in the island.

Speaking to PSM News about the project, the Council President Manadhoo Abdurahman Sabeeh said the MVR900,000 project is planned to be carried out in two phases with the first phase scheduled to be completed within 180 days.

Once completed, the youth centre will have an administrative office, storage space, gymnasium, and an indoor hall.

The project is expected to be completed in 2017, the council said.
