NGO holds workshop on improving access to water & sanitation

Local NGO Water Care on Monday held a workshop on increasing access to safe drinking water and sanitation.

The workshop was held at Salt Café in Male’.

Chairman of Water Care Mohamed Rasheed said discussions at the workshop were centred on the importance of leaving no one behind in providing access to clean drinking water and sanitation in the country.

Participants also discussed challenges faced in providing water and sanitation services and seeking new ways to further improve access to the services in the country, he added.
